the storm of 2022

Hag Syke as I believe its called, empties into the River Tees just east of High Force waterfall and is crossed by the pathway that leads to those falls. The path winds up either side of the Syke's banks and crosses at the apex from where this view is visible.

Though usually pretty in its own right, its a view that is sadly often ignored as everyone is blinkered by their route to High Force. However, it really stands out and its character is transformed once an Autumnal mist descends as it did on the same day from which this photo was taken.
