transformed by rains
For 9/10ths of the year (or seemingly every time I visit), this enchanting area of woodland has barely a trickle of water running through it. Like most other waterfalls I photograph, this lack of flow renders Wharnley Burn in much more delicate brushstrokes and subsequently a completely different character. Once the rains come though, it is completely transformed...
