Landscape Gallery

Drawn to the dramatic and sublime in landscape, my inspiration comes from the sublime works of John Martin and the romanticism of Caspar David Friedrich. I love to explore the relationship between landscape and the weather it finds itself in with the weather often being the major driving force in the narrative wherever possible. Whether that be woodland drenched in fog, valleys lying still under blankets of mist or hillsides and mountain tops receding into the setting sun, the exploration is endless.
